Darjeeling

This December I was wandering through the crowds of Darjeeling Mal. So many people gather here to witness the ultimate beauty of the Darjeeling hillstation in winter. And yes, if you’re planning to go there , December and January are the best months for a visit because winter adds an inexplicable charm to the hillstation. It was wet cold when we went there , the winter downpour just began and still it didn’t stop our shopping spirit to walk along the street stalls , selling handmade products, ceramic pots , sheep wool sweaters (price slashed to half what they sell in Shopper Stop), and leather gloves .We had our breakfast in Glenarys and mom and I went to Keventers for the evening tea and I haven’t had a better coffee shake in my whole life .

It even snowed this time in Tiger hill.So the next time , you’re going , please pack some warm clothes , like it really gets freaking cold in winter in Darjeeling. And don’t forget to have meals at Glenarys and Keventers.
