We always forget to venture out to the beautiful sites in our own city . And exactly that’s why , I never went to visit the historical monument, Victoria Memorial , in my own city , Kolkata. But this December, as my high school days got over for good, my boyfriend Satwik and I went for a tour to this beautiful monument of The Raj .
The Victoria Memorial’s architect was William Emerson (1843–1924), president of the Royal Institute of British Architects.
